Election Day in Alpharetta

I am running for City Council because I really believe I can make a difference in the future of Alpharetta. Making our downtown come alive, protecting our financial future and bringing in more corporate and small business jobs to our great city are all priorities for me. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that these priorities are accomplished.  If you have seen the new flowering planters in downtown you have seen what can happen when a small, dedicated group of individuals are focused on bettering our community.  I love Alpharetta and I believe the best days for our city are ahead of us! Help me to make great things happen by voting for
Donald Mitchell, Alpharetta City Council, Post 1.

The polls are open from 7:00am - 7:00pm.

Volunteer for Donald Mitchell’s Campaign Running to 10 Different Precincts on Election Day

Dick Jones to run to ten Alpharetta polling precincts on Tuesday, November 8.

Donald Mitchell is running for Alpharetta City Council and Dick Jones, an accomplished marathoner, is running for Donald….literally.

Jones, 56, will run to 10 different polling locations in Alpharetta in an effort to raise awareness and increase voter turnout.  When asked why he wants to do this for Donald Mitchell, he says, “Donald is running for office, and I’m running for Donald because I believe in the Fresh Vision he has for Alpharetta.  Sure, this takes commitment, but it’s nothing compared to the commitment Donald Mitchell has to advancing Alpharetta and making it the premier city it can be.”

Jones will begin his run at 7:00 a.m. at AP01 (New Prospect Elementary) and plans to run to 10 precincts in Alpharetta on his way to finishing at AP14 at Ocee Elementary, a total of 18 miles.  When asked how he will stay motivated, he says “It’s easy to maintain motivation because I will be anticipating celebrating Donald Mitchell’s victory at Pure Restaurant later that night!  If you see me running on Election Day, please honk.  Better yet, please go vote for Donald Mitchell.  If I believe in him enough to do this, I can assure you that he is worth your vote.”  Any runners out there that would like to run with Dick, please contact volunteers@donaldmitchell.org.
